I'm Nina Polaris, an actor, model, and photographer. Raised in Annapolis, Maryland, I am based in New York City. From a young age, I embraced my creativity—joining the Youth Symphony Orchestra as a Cellist, filming and staging plays for my family, and seizing every opportunity to dance and sing no matter where I was. My performance journey began when my mom encouraged me to audition for "Beauty and the Beast" at Wiley H. Bates Middle School. Though initially terrified, I took the plunge and sang "We're Almost There" from "Princess and the Frog." When I landed the lead role of 'Belle'—despite not looking like her—I experienced this liberating feeling that I could be and do anything I wanted.

At Fordham University, I further honed my craft, performing in various productions that introduced me to compelling characters that continue to influence me profoundly. A highlight of mine was having the privilege of studying abroad at the London Academy of Dramatic Arts. At LAMDA, I fully immersed myself in their transformative program, which allowed me to train and engage hands-on with the timeless works of Classical Shakespeare. I am dedicated to creating impactful art on stage or screen. Acting has instilled in me the importance of self-respect, nuance, and finding the art in yourself & not yourself in the art. I firmly believe in the collaborative power of acting to connect, inspire, and drive meaningful change.
